DIACHRONIC Desk
A desk with a rigorous, rational and measured design that
nevertheless seems to skirt the edges of a more mysterious and allusive, almost
esoteric dimension.
The folds of the sheet metal define shapes that are
sometimes rectangular, sometimes triangular, alternating between solids and
voids. The strict adherence to functional and structural requirements does not
limit the expressive energy of the form, but rather enhances it.
But the form is not revealed at a single glance: it
escapes between the inclined planes and is transformed by the perceptual
multiplication offered by the different viewpoints.
