Luminous Installations for a hotel chain.
Hosts will find in every resort a different installation with its own characterization by conceptual motivation, form, materials. Nevertheless, there is a common element, that will allow to recognize the unity of the aesthetic and communicative design, represented by a Voronoi tessellation sphere.
In summary, a Voronoi tessellation, named after Russian mathematician Georgy Voronoy born in Ukraine in 1868, is a map divided into cells, each cell covering the region closest to a particular centre.
The installations are realized through traditional techniques of metalworking, among which laser cutting, bending, calendaring, spin-forming, fusion.
The creative aim is that of guaranteeing the structures a character of reassuring centrality, as a way to regain, just for a moment, a condition of psychological and emotional stability in the situation of disorienting variability, no matter how positive, that are possible when we are away.
