In order to meet the requirements of demanding users and collectors of valuable motorcycle helmets, motorcycle jackets and bicycles, we designed some pieces of furniture that allow to display the objects as though the were artworks.
We chose to utilize strong, durable and technological materials, devoid of surface coatings, such as solid wood, stainless steel, thermoplastic and rubber.
The essential design of the items remains discreetly in the background, thus allowing the exhibited objects to be protagonists, and tries to avoid any figurative connotations that may result conflicting. Furthermore, it responds to the need of neutrality, compared to the stylistic and material peculiarities of the exhibited objects, that can be classical steel bicycles or innovative carbon bicycles, classical helmets and jackets in leather or multi-composite fiber helmets and GORE-TEX® jackets.
"When I put a bicycle wheel on a stool, the fork down, there was no idea of a 'ready-made' or anything else. It was just a distraction. I didn't have any special reason to do it, or any intention of showing it or describing anything".
Marcel Duchamp
